MSA Allocator Boot Camp is designed for current and aspiring allocators that want to hone or learn new skills. You will learn to project future medical care for individuals hurt as a result of workers’ compensation injuries, personal injury cases such as automobile accidents or those involving medical mal-practice.
To be properly prepared to become an MSA Allocator requires knowledge of Medicare coverage determinations, a proper understanding and use of ICD, CPT, HCPCS, NDC and J codes, the ability to research appropriate pricing based on fee schedules and usual & customary rates, as well as the ability to research standards of care and project associated future medical treatment. You will learn the intricacies of Medicare’s policies surrounding Medicare Set-Asides. You will learn industry insider techniques that will help you avoid the pitfalls of “Rookie” mistakes. You will leave this class with knowledge that many accumulate over years of practice. The “MSA Pro Tips", resources & research tools will be invaluable to your practice.
Attend the Allocator Boot Camp and participate in virtual intensive training that provides a strong understanding of the tools, resources, and procedures necessary to produce a solid and defensible MSA Allocation. You will leave this class with the knowledge to write a better MSA for Workers’ Compensation MSAs (WCMSA) and Liability MSAs (LMSA).
